Bloques Poblenou is a sculpture/blocks game made using photos of the neighborhood Poblenou in Barcelona in 2015. This is a neighborhood in the process of reinvention where old mills and warehouses are being converted for new uses. Modern glass towers rise beside empty lots and urban development is experimental. Poblenou means "New Town". In this game, every time you play with the blocks, you build a new town.

This stop-motion video is included as front-matter in the ibook edition of Complete Metalsmith by Tim McCreight, published by Brynmorgen Press. Over 600 ink drawings went into this 33 second video.

The good people from Plataforma per la Qualitat de l´Aire in Barcelona joined forces with the Barcelona chapter of Crital Mass to put together a nice bike ride-social jam-protest. My job was to paint a mural that would greet the riders as they arrived at Can Ricart for music and refreshments. Here´s a nice video documenting the event.
